Every time I go to a con I get depressed. I always hope to have fun and meet people but instead I walk around alone, and look at everyone in their groups of friends having fun and enjoying themselves.

Holy shit I'm 18 and don't have a job or a car. I just realized that by the time I'm able to go to any con I'll be nearly 20-years-old. Then I'll be this creepy, short old man surrounded by 14-year-old normalfriends. It'll be just like browsing /v/ but in real life. This is depressing.

I always wanted to go to a con simply for the novelty of meeting another flesh and blood human being that shares at least one interest or hobby with me. I've never experienced anything like that before. With the advent of Homestuck and other evil, subhuman factions, it seems like my chances dwindle evermore.
