It's just the anime started with way more nudity and for some reason even Leina pissing herself, wtf ( I actually tried to find the censored version to see if it made for a better watch). Then at some point the books started getting more fetishy and eventually ended up in VQ. I'm just glad some episodes actually toned it down, though episode 3 doesn't look worth bothering with.
(Worth noting that episode 2 of VQ was pretty nice)
