US here and I still got the error a few days ago(same accident). Some people say they can still play without a VPN, so it might also be ISP based or something. The DMM website/game page is still throwing up a "not available in your region" page as well just now.

The biggest loss and most tedium would be Costume Customizer packs if you were using those. Regular SSR mods are simple enough to get. Skins as well with the filesize of the download itself being the only real problem.

On the plus side VV without any modpacks/a lighter modpack boots much quicker. Maybe you'll appreciate that if you do decide to get back the the grind.

You didn't pick Marie as one of your free starters?
Probably the most important thing to know is never use v-stones on the Venus banner since it only contains the starter girls and their very weak SSR suit. You'll get plenty of free pulls on that banner and eventually unlock all the starter girls. Use v-stones on the trendy banner at the start of an event to hopefully get a trendy SSR suit since they get a huge stat and drop bonus during the event that can greatly speed up progress.

Do your dailies. 10 event matches, 3 daily festival matches, 5 arena matches.
Easy 500 v-stones a day. There's a v-stone weekly for 30 daily matches tho so you'll have to do a bit extra whenever you want.

Never spend v-stones on the basic venus banner.
The one that shares the art with the launcher and is always there. The suits you get from there arent as good as the new SSR they put out and you already give you lots of free pulls for that one.

Save v-stones for a trendy banner you like. Trendies also give you bonus stats in the event festival for the week.
Ideally you want to save v-stones and red tickets for a 3.3% banner which offers the best chance of actually getting anything. Those aren't too common though.
The base rate is 1.1% and on average you'll spend like 45k before seeing a single SSR if you roll on these banners. Expect to be discouraged often.

Trendy banners that feature only 2 girls are usually "trap banners" that also include other SSR in the pull pool. So be warned when rolling on these.
As a side note the expanded cast of girls can only be unlocked through trendy, nostalgia, or weekly dress banners.
The basic venus banner only has the base roster on it.

Every single day in the VIP points shop you can buy an FP refill drink for very cheap. Pretty useful for new players.

What you should be focusing on are the event matches. You will not be able to clear all of them as a newbie, not even with a trendy, so dont worry too much. Just get the easy rewards.
After messing around with the event matches chip away at the main festival matches. Those do have an end to them and much more reasonable for a newbie player.

Marie is part of the base roster so you'll get her sooner rather than later. There's a big halloween event coming up, but those banners will group the girls in groups of 5 and it'll be a 1.1%, so dont expect to get her there without getting incredibly lucky.

The theory is that the plugin used to hide shaders on UI elements, "REST", doesn't work correctly on AMD based graphics cards. The solution is to download the Reshade fix until the plugin works properly for everyone.

I have the white lace removal mod
I restart the game, but the white lace is still there.

Is there a step I missed? Nothing is working. I've triple checked that all my file paths are the same in that loverslab post but the white lace is still showing no matter which character I use

Anyways assuming the filepaths are correct and you've installed 3dmigoto properly I'm going to wager you need a new d3dx file.
Go into one of the bigger modding threads, like Teddy's, and grab the d3dx file from his front page and replace the ancient one you have.
I'm sure that's the problem.

Also that modpack is likely outdated so consider dropping parts of it or all of it if things still appear broken.

When shit breaks on game updates chances are it's the d3dx that needs updating. Doesnt usually happen though, but when it does the community is very good about putting a new one out there.

Sometimes the costume mod is just ancient and broken. For example many of Minazuki's mods from years ago broke over the years.
You'll have to just get rid of it in that case.

I dont "keep up" so to speak. I just use the "For You" tab on the timeline and see what it spits out at me. If there's a particularly good photo taker out there with okay engagement from followers then their new stuff shows up there consistently for me so I dont have to stalk their profile or anything.

I follow hundreds of them, it's hell desu. Some Nips will just block and/or unfollow my account at the drop of a hat for no reason at all. There's also Nips who have private accounts and won't add anyone unless you're a Nip who does Penis Vacation screenshots too.

Since Elon introduced rate limits, scraping them is even harder even with paypig bulk image downloaders. I refuse to use garbage command line only programs like gallery-dl. The Old Twatter extension kinda bypasses the rate limit if you only open one user at a time, if you open multiple users you get rate limited fast.

A few years back Twatter also capped non-dev Twatter accounts into just the first 1000 Twatter posts, meaning accounts who post a ton and have thousands of media posts will simply disappear over time unless you pay for a stupidly expensive Twatter dev account where you can see their actual oldest posts. 1/4 of the Nips I follow fall into this category, so I make it a point to scrape their pages weekly.

Thankfully despite following hundreds of them (currently at 1000~), not all of them update daily much less frequently, only a few couple dozen at most have daily uploads while the rest will upload at least once a week.

Hm, I tried swapping it for my steam exe and it just launched the game as if it were my steam copy, so no reshade or new outfits or new scenes, not even the unlocked dlc from fitgirl. For the record, trying to launch the game before still brought me into a functional cracked version with all the dlc, reshade, and the scenes working, it was just that none of my modded outfits including the BP models were in it, just the standard in game outfits. Your exe might work, the link for the non-cracked exe in the pastebin seems broken unfortunately.

Honestly your best bet if this doesn't work would be to download the game legit from steam, pay/pirate the DLC, crack the costumes, and then install BP.

thanks, y'all. I had it all set up once upon a time but that was still BP so I guess I didn't update properly.
Also there was an old steam forum post about some dude's load times being 10+ minutes that was fixed by changing the ports his keyboard (exact same as mine) was plugged in to, so that's the other problem fixed too.
Is the pose editor as retarded to use as it looks in the guide? I'm used to posing with DoaxvvPoseChange if that's any help

the last update was the one that automatically fixes itself each week and it's worked since.
That was all the way back on November 30th 2022.
Sharing the exe was always a sensitive topic in the group. The fear is that if too many people use it, take too many pics using it, and too many pics of it get seen; then KT might get involved since a decent portion of VV's gameplay/monetization incentive is its poses, which this mod completely circumvents.
I guess the question is how likely that all is to happen if the mod were public, because posting it now would make it officially public?

Honestly, I'd like to. I hate the idea of sekrit club shit and I only even contacted him in the first place because I thought it was a group that shared patreon/paywalled mods so I could steal and reupload them.
That's why I didn't really feel bad about sharing it on /v/ occasionally.
Now that it doesn't break, as soon as the exe gets uploaded, that's it. I guess I'm only hesitant because I'm not sure how badly it'll spread. If it gets too much attention then it might get patched out of existence, then nobody gets it, sekrit club or not.

It's pretty finnicky even now and it's a little unintuitive, especially if you've never done FK posing before, but it works.
If you have any questions on using it then let me know.
One thing to note though, to even start using it you have to "pause" all the girls' bones with the "pause" button at the top
That'll go and quickly freeze the girl's bones one-by-one. It's fast but it's not instant so if she's moving when you press it then she might get frozen in a slightly awkward pose. Having the hourglass helps here if you use that first, then pause, then unfreeze with the hourglass

Yeah, I have all the SSR accessories for my main team already and theyre powerful enough to clear events all the way through without any hiccups (maybe 1 or 2 losses to SSS matches total). I pretty much just hoard stones and only spend them if A.) I like the outfit and B.) It's for my favorite girl. I might spend tokens if its an especially good deal though, like a 3.3 banner which is usually an easy trendy or two.

I gotta say though that the puzzle sort of aspect of the posing is very appealing to me. How you can sort of frankenstein two poses together by freezing certain body parts during a different official pose card and then swapping to a different pose card.

huh, that's actually really smart. The most adventurous I get is just moving them into unintended areas, but if you accidentally touch them at that point then they start slowly sliding back to where they're supposed to be.

yeah next to the rotator button there's a movement control. the camera won't follow so you have to force it to update by clicking any of the buttons on the left (pose/suit/location change)
then just be sure to not accidentally grope her or she'll start sliding back to her original spot at a comically slow speed

Is there any translations for what the girls say when you touch them? I'm curious as to how she's reacting but I don't think that even the English version has subtitles for that, and its sort of hard to transcribe what they're saying into a translator. You could make a copy of you d3dx file which saves your saved costume stuff, and then manually copy paste.
Seems like a real hassle tho and much faster to just manually select Costume Customizer parts again or SSR mod parts again.

What happens when new girls are added to the game? Does the poser just not work for them? I play on ENG so I don't know how people who have the fox girl are handling it.

Nope. Support for new girls has to be done manually. Even now it seems you can't pose Yukino with it on purpose.

As in you need to edit the .exe, find the hashes yourself, or get a new one?
I've seen some custom poses with Yukino tho. Wonder how they're accomplishing that.

The way I understand it works is that DPC is basically a fancy cheat table that grabs the server addresses for each girl and their joints. When a new girl gets released, the app doesn't know the addresses right away because they're new.
The addresses stay the same, though. which is why DPC now still works every week. Even though it "forgets" those address each week, it still knows what addresses to look for now.

You gotta forgive me here. I'm a bit slow on this.

So it knows what to look for for the old girls because that doesnt change and that's why those work, but new girls are undocumented so they can't be posed at all (without some heavy tinkering?)
That's the gist of it right? And in order to pose Yukino or Shuzuku one would need an updated program?

Exactly. Someone would need to go in and just point it to the new addresses and update the UI but I don't think he ever taught anybody how.

yeah I don't know what's up with that. It wouldn't surprise me that if one person was able to make a pose changer that maybe someone else managed to.
or maybe he disappeared to start a new, even more private group where it's maintained.
