>>682898if u wanna do action poses, you want to be able to draw the body from most of the major directions without too much trial and error. it will give you more freedom to work with. after all, a reason for stiffness can very well be that you just don't know how to make the angles.
next you want a striking idea in your imagination, something that will "last on your eyelids", an image, or impression of something cool or whatever it is you want to do.
then, do it, before you lose it. (you just need to be fast enough to catch it before it disappears, nothing crazy.) that's what works for me anyways.
