do you use csp? i use really archaic and antiquated art programs so it’ll probably come easier to you if you do use csp, probably a lot more tutorials specific to that program also.
I don’t use grayscale, when i cel shade i lay down flats and shade/light over it in different layers
but for organic blending you’re going to want to use a painterly brush and keep everything on one layer so the colors pick up on your brush
in some programs color can pick up from different layers and i dont know if csp does that but none of the programs i use do, so i keep it all on one
i recommend looking up art process videos where people paint traditionally if you’re curious about the process, i think everyone has their own method for that, you’ll have to find yours on your own. it comes with practice, like all things in art do. i don’t think i’m in a my place to give people advice yet, i’m really a noob at this shit
