lastly, I am not really sure what your point is about "clipless" being "better". better than what? and which specific incarnation of "clipless"? because my complaint was about people overstating the difference between what are usually referred to as "road pedals" and "mtb pedals", not "pedals" and "no pedals" or "pinned flats" vs "spd"
