I started "cycling" pretty much in August. Until then I've been using bikes only for commuting and maybe some weekend chilly rides.
Currently, I'm chasing numbers and I enjoy it. I like it when the number goes up. I don't see anything wrong with it for now. I know it won't stay like this forever. I put in the work and I'm willing to put even more in the future.
I want to go fast. I want to see progress and PRs on strava. I do not have gear besides some castelli bibs, decent-ish bike, thermal leggins, lights, pulsemeter and a helmet.
Knowing this, what purchases would you advise to make my monkey brain go happy when number goes up.
I can spend up to $1000 before the "season" (in the meaning of serious riding during every weekend) starts.
