You know this. Everybody knows this. I think you just have an unhealthy attachment to vehicular cycling. Cycling with and trough cars feels exhilarating and empowering and you feel special doing it, because it really is special and I love it as much as you do.
But can your Ma and Pa do it? Can any of your relatives do it? Can your elderly neighbor do it?
I think you take this position because you're afraid cycling infrastructure will restrict the kind of cycling YOU want to do, and I think that's really selfish.
