>>1875971i didn't buy the chainring specifically for the narrow-wide aspect but imo there is no downside. it's just a comfy fit with equal lateral play against the inner/outer plates of the chain. i can't hear any noise at all from the chainring over the sound coming from the phil wood cog. it's just 8.5 grams heavier than the stock sram s300 chainring but much stiffer and better looking imo. the chainring barely matters for aero btw, it's maybe 1-2 watts from a fully aero crankset.
