I commute on an extra-wide side-walk that functions as a bike/e-scooter lane.
I'm American, we drive on the right here which also applies to the sidewalk.
However, my neighborhood also has a lot of pajeet international students. They do not know the local rule and because they are students they never will. The second they learn a new fob pajeet will replace them.
They do things like e-scooter on the left and travel in extremely large groups [10+] without letting people pass them. They not only drive on the wrong side, they also walk side to side.
What's the proper thing to do in this situation? Am I supposed to ask the city to put up signs or something?
One time I saw a slow-motion collision. At a turn and both the cyclist and pajeet woman on an e-scooter were turning very slow. The cyclist stayed on the right because they weren't racist enough to assume the pajeet would crash into them. But of course the pajeet stayed on their left [so same lane to be clear] and crashed right into them. All in slow-motion but extremely predictable.
