I live in a city ~40 km across (won't name it to not derail discussion) and after 5 years of cycling for leisure I'm starting to lose it. My trips went from 15-20 km to 50-60 roundtrip to see the far reaches but most of it is places I've already been in, the spirit of exploration is vaning.
But then I look at the map and realise that I am in one of the biggest metropolitan areas in the world. I could cycle every single street in Copenhagen in a week, even my daily commute won't fit within it, and yet people live and cycle there. How do they have fun when they just run out of space so fast?
>they ride out of the city
Ah yes, perfect, instead of repeating scenery there's just no scenery or pathfinding of note.
