>1 minute to do all the weldsNo, take as long as you care, start & stop, etc. But you have to flood the thing with shield gas a bit before, all during, and a bit after you run the torch, and that gas isn't free. And the longer you take, there are more opportunities for your surface prep to be ruined/contaminated.
