After years of experimentation my bar setups are very boring now: flat bar on MTB, drops on road, drops with slight flare on gravel. I used inverted north road bars for a long time and liked them, and would consider running them again if i was building another road/cruiser bike. The difficult with most creative bar setups is that they work if you get the height, reach, width, and angles perfectly right to suit you and your preferences, whereas with the standard drops and flats and cruiser bars you can be comfortable on a range of bars with those general shapes.
