now's your chance to influence my buying decision, for better or worse
I'm looking to buy a new hybrid for occasional commuting, but mostly just moving from point A to B within the city. It's a northern yuropean city so the conditions here range from smooth pavement to gravel on top of shitty pavement (especially during springtime) to cobblestone.
With my few needs/wants, like disc brakes for varying weather conditions, ease of mounting a front rack, and trying to stay within 900e for the base bike, I've so far found these three around the same price point
>Specialized Sirrus X 3.0 (or 2.0 for slightly cheaper)
>Trek FX 3 Disc Gen 3
>Marin Muirwoods 2024
Tell me if any or all of these options are retarded or if there is something else I should look into. The Trek uses Shimano Deore while the other two have Microshift Advent (X). Marin frame is chromoly and the others are aluminum. I'm not looking to immediately swap out any major parts.
>inb4 "why don't you just buy something better / cheaper used?"
I'm looking at used bikes almost daily, but so far it seems like everyone around me selling them is a midget and, depending on the geometry, I usually fall in the top end of L or XL frame size.
