I have one of these Decathlon bike computers. Originally I installed the sensor on the left side of the fork but it was flapping in the wind and rubbing against the tire so I move it to the right side. But now it's showing much faster speeds, like almost exactly twice the speed. I was casually driving and it was showing 43 km/h, which feels nonsense and when I was barely coasting it showed 20 km/h. What do you think is going on? Does it matter in which direction the sensor and the magnet are moving to one another? But the manual showed to install on the right side anyway, so this should be the correct way to install. I didn't change the wheel size or any other settings either. What could be the issue? I would understand if it showed lower speed in case the sensor was too far away from the magnet and it only registered every second turn. But showing twice the speed? How would that happen?
