I always get the same two punctures on both sides of the seam where the tube is welded together. They always occur on the side of the tube which faces the rim, right next to the seam. (see pic)
I changed rim, tape, tube, but always get the same punctures besides the seam. What's happening?
Am I putting too much pressure in the tube? It looks like these two bumps are bulging out , as if the pressure is too high and wants to escape from the point of least resistance. But that would be strange since I'm not even past the max pressure on the label. Could it be because the rim itself is too narrow (90s 26" MTB rim) and is pressing the tube in awkward position?
Any help/input would appreciated.
