>>1801653>how does the cat just not fuck off spotting something in distance or somethingHe knows and understands he's leashed so he simply doesn't. He likes to climb up high on my shoulders to try catch low flying bats but beyond that he understands he's on a moving bike and doesn't chase random birds or rabbits.
>how does it react to passing vehiclesThey either don't bother him or he just ducks down into the bag and pops out again. It's about 50/50. I've had him on a picnic near a highway and the loud noise didn't bother him. It's the speed and size I think. Since slow moving vehicles in pedestrian areas he doesn't hide from.
>how does it react to going through crowded placesFine, if we pass a crowd on the cycle path he sometimes ducks away for a moment. But he also will quite happily chill on my shoulder in a crowded high street. I think it's just sudden large shapes he hides away from. But if he's already in an busy environment he acclimates to it quickly.
>what would you do if he jumped and leftHe's leashed and on a harness so he can't jump out the bag.
Twice he's jumped out the basket and it was in the first five trips, when he was still a 1y/o kitten.
The first time he got spooked by loud cackling drunk women.
The second time I think he was being curious trying to see how much freedom he had and what would happen if he jumped out a moving bike lol.
