I wish I can reliably commute with my bike every day, it's so comfy (when I ain't stinky)....
the local bike repair shop told me I "should" have my bike serviced every 6 month or so. is this technically a rail guard to prevent degradation, or he's just trying to make me pay more often? I thought with a normal bike, you can just lube and go for maybe a year or two before any maintenance is needed.
