>>1931201It's like any big city in the world. There is good and bad. Just stay away from the bad areas and you will probably live your entire life not ever being a victim of a serious crime (getting robbed or something gay like that doesn't count because it's just human nature for others to steal).
Doom scrollers that just sit on the computer all day reading news articles and browsing places that confirm their biases are going to tell you how bad the city is but if it was really so horrific, do you really think it would have one of the best economies in the country and millions of people living there? Sure it has high crime rates and violence in some areas but chances are you're not a nigger living in the hood so you're not going to come into contact with that really.
I mean I'd take living in Chicago over some hillbilly meth village deep in the backwoods of Appalachia or life in some uncanny suburban hellhole.
