Some of my own examples, prices in europoors:
Rear hub (alu) exploded on its own, after years of use (possible void on the joint), new wheels, 640euros
Front deraileur bolt spring came apart during remounting, new FD: 45 euros
Shifter paddle (FD) broke on the upshift: replacement parts: not available, new shifters: 200 euros.
I cant wait to get carbon wheels and eat through the brake track, or ruin the hubs. Or even worse, lightly bump a carbon frame somewhere to watch it explode along with all my money. Are you guys massive savers somehow, or do you have a FinDom thing going on?
