>>1927279it should look structurally sound with good width/thickness (narrow-wide chainrings all seem to have good thickness) and a more or less truss-like construction with hollowed out sections and a connected inner circle like your pic or pic related. some chainring designs are old as dirt from when CNC was a luxury or otherwise designed by amateurs/artists as opposed to engineers. the trueness doesn't seem to be an issue with these as opposed to older stamped chainrings.
