>>1793045i have procrastinated way too much on this whole thing lol. it started with a prebuilt fixie from a small european brand which had countless issues that i ended up returning because the frame was ridiculously misaligned. to (over)compensate for that i wanted to build up a new bike from scratch i wanted to get everything up to very high quality/performance/aesthetics standards and know all the maintenance inside and out (even being able to press bottom bracket and wheel hub bearings further down the line). the tight fork/head tube gap looks freaking sweet irl tho. if anyone has a 1.5 inch lower integrated headset they could try the same thing, get a ACB518H8/ACB519H8 bearing for a 45 degree crown race or ACB518K for 36 degrees.
