Spent over a year doing that. It’s not good for the health, or my interpersonal relationships. My old lady wouldn’t go for it again, especially starting a family. I’ll give the MEBA a buzz just to see what they really offer before I pay for licensing. I took a financial step back years ago when I first got off tugs, and I’m never doing that shit again. My company lost a deckineer and licensed guy to the ferries, they seem to be happier, not sure if as financially comfortable though.
