I recently got some cheap continental grand sport race nylon casing tires with a nylon protection strip and realized they're comfy af, comfier than some of the fancy race tires with aramid space cum fiber casing/protection strips. I did some research and learned nylon is much more elastic than aramid stuff like kevlar in exchange for a quarter less strength and heavy shit density. The specific tires I picked has decently good traction but it rolls so slow. I feel kind of lied to about tires, drinking their race tire koolaid for years
