Line 68 was the last first-generation tram line in Marseille. The tunnel built in 1893 saved the line from being converted into a bus route. In 2004, the tramway was modernised with Line 68 being succeeded by Tram Line 1. Today there are 3 tram lines.

I used to commute between DC and NY, the train is the ONLY reasonable choice. There's a so-called "shuttle" flight which is unpleasant and takes just as long with security and all that nonsense. I always felt like shit after taking the plane, but after the train I felt refreshed and relaxed.

Air travel only makes sense if you're going to the west coast or Europe or Asia
