Maybe a really nice on in Japan, in like, Switzerland or something. Other than that, none. I disliked the stress of going to little Tokyo in Los Angeles by Metro Link from Fontana. Trains are not for me.

North station of Vienna, after WWII it was torn down because it was heavily damaged and with the iron curtain there was no connection to the Czech republic and other east block states.

Berlin, CT before it burned down from 2009.
Loved going here as a kid and starting family trips from here.
Burned down as it was being refurbished while the new station was being built next to it. What a shame.

King's Cross is a rarity; one of the few railway stations that has been improved in recent years by them going back to the original design.

They still have a crap concourse with modern glass and steel built onto the side of it, but the facade has been rescued from the dire modern additions.

Yeah but there really is violence on public transportation sometimes so it's not fearmongering. I have been in a lot of shitty situations and I know when things are about to get sketchy and believe me there was about 4 or 5 times where someone started acting batshit crazy on a metro tube or tram that i have witnessed. I got off at the next stop because I have witnessed violence already enough but in one instance a drunk man started harassing a child the way no one did anything about it and just froze with fear was one of the creepiest things i have ever witnessed. Even the boys father just froze and started acting submissive while some drunk asshole yelled at his kid. I dont like situations like that.. and in Europe people are not even allowed to defend themself and i actually know someone that punched a guy in the face that was in the process of mugging a group of women, and the guy that got punched died and this acquaintance of mine did a year in fucking prison. I mean not having guns is bad enough but people are held responsible for the injuries of their assailants and that is no joke so that is fucked up, and the girls are even taught to let men rape them if they feel threatened.. I'm not making this up.

It's a hotel currently. Scranton is now Norfolk Southern and CSX territory. Scranton is also how to steam town which is fun to visit. But for being so train centered, there's not even an Amtrak line to it...
