apart from all the gimmicky quasi inovation in cycling, these are the only that present genuine technological progress that doesnt undermine durability and is on all the dimensions (durability, ease of mainintence, price) superior than the previous

>more ergonomic hoods
>2 bolt seatpost system with more precise adjustments insted of lousy 1 6mm bolt
>helmets

but that is more for mtb than road tires which were already solid in the 80s
