>>1291691I built up a "tideace" frameset after some guys on a bike forum have been recommending them. Bought it off ebay (they use paypal which I like), same seller as on ali express but it was 70€ cheaper on ebay for some reason...their aliexpress shop is also cheaper than their official webstore even though its all run by the same people. God knows why that is.
Arrived in my country 6 days after I bought it though it has to go through customs first and depending on your country you have to pay quite a bit more. The package looked really beat up but the frame + seatpost + fork were covered in really thick foam stuff and the packaging was solid on the inside so it was all fine.
The frame is really high quality, the paintjob was done well, no excess paint in any holes or something like that, all measurements were very exact, their geometry table was 100% exact too. I don't really care about weight that much, especially since I bought an aero frame which is heavy anyways but i weighed it anyways. The frame alone was advertised as 1150g at size 54 or 56 I can't remember, I bought a 56 and it weighed 1134g so that's pretty neat.
TL;DR Tideace is a decent brand based on my experiance.
A couple cheap brand names I can think of that are decent are Hongfu, Dengfu, Seraph (which is either Hongfu or Dengfu but for some reason sells the same frames cheaper), Yoleo (UCI approved and pretty established so they are expensive), Sobato.
Stay away from fake Pinarellos/Colnagos and stuff though. They are usually lower quality and might have fucked up sizing etc.
