>>1421033I only took a couple, and the other is similar to the one I posted. I wish I would have taken some crowd shots, because I bet everyone would have had fun with those. I'll look on instagram for some. About 40-50 people showed up which was way more than expected.
>>1421040I really enjoyed talking with him. He's an endless source of knowledge and I respect his ideals even though I disagree with some of them.
>>1421042You should've seen the look on his face when a guy approached him for an autograph.
>>1421044No, he's just leaning on it.
No idea. Terrible angle but maybe he was trying to take a hand shot? Because you get an analog experience that often leads to imperfect shots, which can make them more interesting. Because after The Collapse(tm), manual typewriters will become useful again.
We were all packed into a small room and it was bloody sweltering in there. Everyone was kind of miserable at that point.
Because in the unracer's vision of a perfect future we are all one unraced genderblob.
It's supposed to be a dirt bike, and dirt means knobs. I don't know if there are any 700x2.9" slicks out there anyway.
>>1421060That's part of why I asked him if he'd put more typical MTB components on it and had someone send it down srsbznss singletrack, but the tldr version of his answer was, it's just not that sort of bike. If a trail gets really technical and tight, yeah it would be a problem, but for the kinds of roads and trails you'd ride to get to a nice campsite, it would be perfect. For a groomed flow trail it would be good too. Fuck, I'm going to talk myself into buying a Gus at this rate.
>>1421066Yeah, while trying to discover novel new ways of losing money. But he is really just completely obsessed with bicycles and how to make them better transportation, and he's so stubbornly committed to his vision that I doubt he really cares about what anyone else thinks.
