>>1443871that's probably not enough to get the crusted mud-like splatter and road grit off. you're not supposed to spray it with a high pressure.

>>1443887>waste daysit's sporadic, i only got the text message yesterday about the 25% off, but german amazon has a better deal anyway, and i'd rather waste time gathering knowledge than spend xx minutes each time using an inappropriate method to wash my bike and ruin my bearings and whatnot after every single god damn fucking ride like some nutjobs say you have to
anons gave me crap for not wanting to buy a bike-specific chain lube, you should check some of these links
>>1443095 and what jobst brandt had to say on this subject, we already had chainsaw bar oil and odorless mineral spirits so i didn't even spend any money on it, you're the ones who are being stubborn when you can get 500 liters worth of bretty gud german-made wash liquid and a basic microfiber washmitt/sponge for pretty much what a chain lube costs, it seems people only need a few liters to do a car so to do a bike would probably be one liter or less
as for why you don't want to dry your bike out with dish soap, i once bought a cheap samsung galaxy s4 with a mildly cracked screen glass, turns out you can't really get the OEM part without using another phone as a donor, and it's impossible to replicate the factory oleophobic coating so it feels like garbage and gets smudges, you could fix it temporarily with wax and i sold the phone for a small profit and i got my money back on the screen glass because the ebay listing said it was OEM quality but they sent a different glass, i disclosed the fact that the glass had been replaced but it was still a bit of a scumbag move to sell it in that state, the phone repair industry in general has a lot of scumbaggery much like with bike mechanics
