there's always a reason when you get a flat tire.
You might have pinched the tube between the tire and the rim when you installed, especially if you bully it on with tire levers.
If it's a snakebite shape, your tire pressure was too low and you slammed them into stuff.
If it's a single cut on the inside of the tube, there will be a spot on the rim/ rim tape that is jagged and causing them
if it's a spot on the outside, you should be able to trace it on to the specific place on the tire, and find a piece of debris imbeded in the tire, or atleast, a hole. You have to remove that debris otherwise it will cause another puncture. If you're getting multiple punctures with things working through your tires you just need new or stronger tires.
Flat tires are not due to 'lemon bikes'. They're bad luck and you can fix them with process.

Your gear/drivetrain issues are absolutely not inherent to that bike. The bike has a reasonable drivetrain spec. And it should be relatively simple to get it to be in good working condition. If you've spent a lot of money having the drivetrain serviced and it doesn't work well then you've wasted a lot of money and you need to learn it yourself.
