>>1721584>do you like those innerbarendsThey're the SQlab Innerbarends 411. I love them, even though I can't even really set them up and use them perfectly right now because I have the shitty twist shifters that take a shit-ton of place on the handlebar. I'm gonna upgrade to trigger shifters and then it will be perfect. Can't speak on the Ergon GA3 on the pic because I couldn't use them on a trip yet, once again because of those shifters that take all the place and prevent me from pushing the grips all the way down, so I used different grips. Handlebar is a Ritchey Comp Kyote that I cut down to around 740mm I think, using a pipe cutter, I really like it. Overall I have no complaints on the handlebar side of my bike even though it's not even set up perfectly yet.
>>1721738>maybe switch to a less annoying tent instead? What I'm probably gonna try next year alongside the hammock is just a simple tarp setup. What's your tent btw?
>also consider a hammock requires you to find two properly spaced and strong enough trees to hang it fromYeah, but I haven't been to a place where there wasn't plenty of trees and I'm not planning on going to any place where there won't be. In my case I'm pretty sure it's going to be easier to find good trees than a good tent spot.
>I can't imagine using it anywhere but in the warmest climatesYou can use a hammock in cold and wet climate, you just need a tarp and an underquilt (there are ways to use a sleeping mat instead of an underquilt but it's not ideal).
>>1721746The brake pads are in good condition, I tried to adjust them before this trip but I find it to be a pain in the ass, which is a common feeling with cantilevers it seems. The brake arms themselves do look to be either worn out or the triangles are shitty/not the good length, whatever the reason might be it's just a mess. I guess I shouldn't judge cantis before actually having a good setup on but yeah, I'm just thinking about putting luxurious Magura HS33 and voilà.
