Why do bikefags say this whenever someone entertains the idea of buying a sub-$250 bike from somewhere like Walmart? How is a $250 Schwinn, Mongoose, Huffy, ect shit? Sure, some of the cheaper bikes are dogshit, but not the higher-tier Walmart bikes. The reason some fail or fall apart is because they are assembled by retarded normies instead of someone who knows what they're doing. You should buy Walmart bikes in the box, unassembled, and do it yourself after inspecting all the parts to see if you need to return it or not. "Just buy a bike from a local shop" is a retarded statement always brought up... the cheapest new bike at those shops that aren't kids bikes or cruisers are like $550, and they are bottom barrel from those brands, with the same Chinesium(Taiwan gets it's metal from China) parts as Walmart bikes. Why would you spend $550 on a bike that has the same features and reliability as a $250 Walmart bike? It makes no sense to suggest that someone looking for a budget bike "just buy a bike from a local shop."
