interesting suntour stuff
how do you like the accushift?
imo the improvements are not improvements. That crank is heavier and uglier than the original woulda been. It's a fair service item with worn out chainrings but it's not 'modernisation' or an upgrade. Same thing with the v-brakes. Cantis are better, and are those the original short pull levers? They're not compatible so the braking is probably grabby. And you didn't need to run full length housing along the top tube with zip ties, even with v-brakes you could have still used those 2 stops.
I'm not a fan of the tire choice. Those smoke tires are supposed to be a pair smoke/dart, i've ridden em and panaracers other re-issue classic mtb tire the Fire XC pro and i think they're all too extreme. Classic mtbs like that make good all terrain bikes they don't suit heavy knobbed mud tires, rather, something slicker and lighter and faster.
I don't like the black/brown/gold colorscheme either. Black/brown tends to clash and it clashes there. The tanwalls look good but the grips/seat are cringey.
The upgrade i'd go to first, a nice pair of modern pedals, you don't have it.
don't like the kickstand. The framebag and the bottle cage are good. For me it's a 6/10
