I've once come across a statistic that IIRC read the vast majority of people falling of bikes do not involve any other party but is old people going too slow and handling their bike too insecure. I saw that shit happen live once, when helping her the lady all of a sudden had a stroke of genious and started first hinting that me passing had something to do with it and then switching to claiming it was definately my spooky action at a distance. You should definitely try to get back any taxes you paid to cycle on public roads.
I would also recommend you to claim any sales tax on your cycle and cycle accessories, but that will be difficult, kind of like getting a cyclist to stick to basic rules on the road.

Many concussions, fractures, brain injuries etc were prevented by the simple plastic lid. Modern lids have MIPS technology which adds a lot of additional security.

From experience, full face vs. normal helmet is the difference between carrying on with your day and a ER visit. Kinda slows your face down before impact and then your mouth hits the inside of the chin bar instead of rocks.

Also it is nice to have your face covered so you don't get permabanned from malls and stuff cause you and some buddies ride through the common areas.

I think this is mostly a myth.
Any remotely decent motorcycle helmet will have multiple layers of foam with different hardness.
So it will protect from both light and hard impacts it just has overall more foam with is why they are heavier than bicycle helmets.
Though you could argue that the additional weight increases the risk of neck injuries, not sure how significant that is.

I actually got a full face MTB helmet recently since it was pretty cheap and I wanted to try one out especially for my more dangerous e-skateboarding.

Despite being a bit heavier than most other full face MTB helmets the weight doesn't really bother me.(although I have also worn an even heavier motorcycle helmet before)
It also doesn't limit your field of view with regular glasses, only with goggles which you don't really need but that should be obvious.

So overall it's not a bad option, ironically my biggest problem with it might be that it could draw more unwanted attention to me and my maybe a bit too fast e-bike.

It's legally required over here if you're on gas scooter or e-scooter.
And bicycle helmet is the only option that doesn't crush your already tired and stuff neck.

A basic bitch 20 dollar walmart hemlet saved my head and face from serious damage when had a wheelbender crash in a fast downhill that broke my collarbone. Without that little bit of foam my head would of smashed on the road and dragged my face on the asphalt. It was the difference between walking to the urgent care and needing an ambulance

I never wore a helmet and I've been cycling pretty much uninterrupted since I was 6. Had plenty of falls and tumbles but never shattered my cranium or anything like that. I skateboarded a lot when I was a kid so I think I learned how to fall without hurting myself, it's instinctual, but having said that I can't remember my last fall.

I subscribe to the Peter Hitchens theory that helmets encourage drivers to be less careful around cyclists.
