Is it weird to develop a certain affection for the late 20th century car-centric european cities (similar to pic related) and post-war suburbia one grew up with, due to the absolutely insufferable smugness of many pro-transit Youtubers like NotJustBikes and Adam Something?
As nice and sensible most of their ideas are, watching them I just get an enormous urge to buy the biggest american land yacht from the 60s or early 70s available and to start a petition to demolish some beautiful late 19th century building in order to turn it and the park next to it, into a large parking lot.
