no, but I have been spit on, and threatened. most threats are empty, and passengers stand down when you get out of the chair and confront them (against company policy, you are expected to sit there and get beaten).

Got my Class B through the transit agency I am currently a planner at 15 years ago through the in house program. I like my job, it's good for the area I live in and since it's a small college town I don't have to deal with much like an organization in a city does. This fall I will be upgrading to a Class A through a local CDL/trucking school so I can pick up side work with a larger vehicle. The cost in my state between a CDL and conventional license is nominal so I plan to keep the CDL forever.
