Anons, please, I beg of you, help me decide.
I've been thinking about this for two days now.
>buy brand-new Chinese e-bike for $600, and a spare battery for $200, giving me 80KM of range
or
>buy used Chinese four-stroke gas four-wheeler (ATV/quad) for $600

I want it for a daily commute - I live in the country, it's about 16km one-way (make it a 40km round trip after groceries and everything.)
The e-bike has a base range of 40 - 45km.
The ATV has infinite range.

The bike would keep me fit and healthy, the ATV wouldn't.
HOWEVER, the bike might also get me killed on the country roads. The ATV is visible from a kilometer away AND heard from 4 kilometers away.
Bike doesn't need registration. ATV does.
Bike doesn't need insurance, ATV does.

Not sure if it can haul much cargo without losing 3/4 of its range.
ATV definitely can pull a trailer.

I would like to be able to pull a small generator or pressure washer or something else along once in a while.
What do you friends think?
