and then have that scrolling on the LED displays in the carriages, along with the 'see it say it sorted' bollocks.
i always feel so sorry for normies and tourists when the "train manager" is apparently holding his intercom mic at arm's length and mumbling a list of destinations into it, while everyone is still doing the 'loudly shoving their luggage into the overheads and asking each other if this is the right carriage' dance. especially if there's been a delay and some genius has signalled a 16:02 and a 16:03 into the same platform, and nobody's sure if they're on the right train.
