Bought this for my dad, he loves it. Along with the brooks leather grips his bike looks great. Same dark brown color, frame is dark beige with brown accents

Probably because your brain doesn't have the computing power to simulate the internal state of other people's brains and unlike some comments on this subreddit, this one resonated for you in some way. That being an exception rather than the rule, your brain attempted to seek an explanation but it ran out of steam simulating the proposition that other minds exist and you just stuck a period on that sentence and ran with it.
