I know some people dislike ebikes because there are some idiots out there who don't know how to ride properly. I live in Texas so there isn't as much hate for them compared to places like New York. What are some pet peeves about ebike riders that bother you? These are the rules I follow to try and stay safe:
- always use bike lanes when available
- always stop at stop signs and red lights
- always yield for pedestrians or slow down when passing them on a sidewalk
- don't pretend like I'm on a motorcycle
