>>1956611Anything other than an airtag is either going to require recharging every couple of days, or be so large that it will be extremely obvious what it is to anyone glancing at the bike. It will also cost money for a data plan, and anywhere densely built up it's going to be questionable whether the signal will be good enough in between or inside buildings.
This might be fine if you're doing a "bait bike" schtick for youtube clicks because you can just lurk nearby for a few hours until someone steals it, but if you're doing this because you *don't* want to have your bike stolen successfully, it's not going to be practical.
