How did "urbanism" get to a point where discussion of issues that people who live in cities would ACTUALLY care about (like traffic safety, penalizing drivers who kill people, aggressive enforcement of moving violations, etc) is dismissed as kooky fringe don quixote stuff, while mainstream "normal urbanism' is just lazy retweets of pro-developer astroturfing by people who don't live anywhere near a major city?
