You apply, take the aptitude test, wait on results, get a tentative offer, wait months for progress, do a long background check process, hopefully you pass that, get an offer for academy, wait for that, go to academy, hopefully you pass, go to facility, hope it isn't shit, and then hope you certify and don't wash.
Honestly it's a long process, and I'm still not done. Going back to OKC for radar training to work tracon at my up/down. The good part is that my facility is cake, but the slow traffic makes it a difficult environment to learn. I knew zero about aviation and here I am. A real human should never do this job with today's technology. This career, especially tower, is fucking nuts when you have a lot going on. The public would shit their pants if they saw how much things rely on some faggot saying the correct thing or some faggot telling the faggot briefing them about everything. Luckily pilots have windows lol.
