>>1959494Perfect city bike for a shorter rider. Lots of car-like low-end torque, you'll never stall it in first and can start in second the way most bikes start in first. It can rev but doesn't like it, torque band at 2.5-5k. Thin, not particularly light but feels light, very stable, great for lane filtering. It's quieter at WOT than many bikes are at idle, and that's a great thing, just use your horn more often. If you are lanky it'll feel like a Grom, but I'm 172 and it's perfectly sized for me. The handling is a bit dull, it's nimble and predictable to a fault, doesn't have the playfulness of something like a Monster.
Its main issue is that it's geared very low and close together, it's easy to ride in the city because it has torque band for 2-3 gears at once at all times, but if you go touring you'll wish it had a higher top gear. It has a lot of grunt left in the engine but you have to spin it to go faster because of gearing, which gives it fuel efficiency on par with big bikes like R1200GS with half the tank size, plus its comfy highway cruising speed perfectly coincides with 4k RPM which seems to be the bike's resonant frequency.
Also, load limit of 120 kg. You gotta find a 45 kg girlfriend.
Also you can't jack it up on the frame because of the exhaust.
Also if it tumbles it ends up wheels up, that coupled with it being somewhat top-heavy makes it really annoying to pick back up again.
Also rust.
