Normalfaggots view motorcycles as actual vehicles but traditional bikes are simultaneously viewed as children's toys, something an adult would only use seriously if they couldn't afford a car, and richfag toys.

A car will always be a better vehicle for transportation.
I only respect road freds and downhill/enduro racers. Only hippies and poors use bikes as a primary vehicle.

Average cost of car ownership is 10k annually.

I bought my bike for $35. I rebuilt it with $300 of parts. I spend less than $50 a year on maintenance. I stay active and healthy.

I like bikes. I like cars, too, but I can't justify owning a car on a 50k a year salary, especially when there's uber.

Calculations like this include depreciation in the annual cost which effectively paints a scenario where the car was completely free but costs $10k a year to run. Also it skews the number because the 'average' car is a $50,000 SUV owned by some debt-enslaved soccer mom.

Thats literally the money for a beginner 105 aluminium road bike. I could probably go even cheaper but i like my wagon.
