Trump and his allies in several states drew up a fraudulent slate of electors who were not certified by the states to submit election results in an attempt to sow chaos during the certification process. In many instances, these fake electors reported being misled by Trump's team into believing they were actually the legitimate electors. I can keep going if you like.
