The president made an incoherent appearance before the media in Hanoi (Vietnam) after the G20 meeting.
The president, visibly confused, attended a meeting with the media in Hanoi where he wove together a surreal speech, full of inconsistencies from his first words (he confused the movie Good Morning Vietnam with a song) right through to the very end. The president's team intervened in order to cut short the appearance as Biden tried to talk about U.S. relations with "the third world."

Biden attempted to create a cheerful atmosphere during his press conference, but only sowed confusion

He then tried to explain U.S. relations with "the third world," which he connected to "the southern hemisphere" when he was interrupted by Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House Press Secretary, who interrupted the hearing abruptly, as the president continued to speak.
