Putin Humiliated by Ukrainian Hackers Who Take Over Russian TV Broadcasts in Crimea, Insult President

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a surprise appearance overnight on Russian television screens across annexed Crimea.

Knewz.com has learned that this was the result of Ukrainian hackers replacing Russian channels with a specific message from Kyiv, leaving Russian officials scrambling to regain control of their media networks.

In the message broadcast Wednesday night, November 29, Zelensky addressed Ukrainians living under Russian occupation, saying:

“I would like to separately say to all our people in Crimea, in Sevastopol, in all the occupied regions of the south and east of our state, [...]”

“Dear Ukrainians,” his appeal went. “You all feel that the Russian presence on our land will not last forever. I know this.”

“Ukraine will return its territory [to] our people. We will not leave anyone to the occupiers.”

While this message was being broadcast, subtitles at the bottom of the screen read: “Putin is a d--- head.” The hackers renamed all 20 channels in the IPTV network with the phrase,

When Zelensky finished what he had to say, the country’s spy boss, Lieutenant-Gen Kyrylo Budanov, replaced him with a message of his own.

“Crimea will be returned,” said the head of intelligence.

“Crimea is ours. There should be no Russia.”

“It's ours and no one else’s,” he said

The Russian authorities were left with no choice but to admit the intrusion.
