Honestly I'm more surprised that dog meat can be economical to raise. You would think a carnivore would be too expensive to feed and raise for meat.

Cows, goats and sheep literally eat grass from the field. Chickens eat bugs, scraps and seeds from the field. Pigs eat most anything.
